ZondRes2D software is designed for 2D interpretation of electrical resistivity and induced polarization tomography (ERT and IP) data obtained during surface, borehole and off-shore surveys.
ZondRes2D belongs to the Zond family of programs. A unified interface and approach to data processing make it easy to familiarize yourself with operation of the entire package – in case you have the skills to work with one of the programs. ZondRes2D software can be installed on a computer with OS Windows 98 or later. For large datasets, calculations in the 64-bit version are available. ZondRes2d is a turnkey solution for ERT and solves a wide range of problems from mathematical modeling, observation system choice, data quality and sensitivity analysis, to processing, inversion and interpretation of field data. A user-friendly interface and great data presentation capabilities allow to solve the geological problem in the most effective way. The system for analyzing the quality of ERT data ensures the quick and efficient identification of problematic measurements in automatic and semi-automatic modes.
ZondRes2d deploys a simple and comprehensible data format that allows one to easily combine different electrical survey systems, including various options for setting the topography (including the bathymetry data of off-shore ERT) and other auxiliary information. Output files of the most popular geoelectrical equipment (Syscal, ABEM, AGI, Siber-48, Siber-64, Omega-48, ARES, ARES-II, complex MARY Smart + CommDD2 (48/64/72/80), complex SGD-EET MEDUSA + CommDD2 (48/64/72/80) are supported
ZondRes2d has a wide range of tools for mathematical modeling and analysis of sensitivity of DC and IP parameters what allows one to evaluate the signal level and choose the optimal parameters of setup in order to solve a geological task.
When developing the program, special attention was paid to considering a priori information. In ZondRes2d it is possible to assign weights to measurements, fix and set limits for changing the properties of individual cells, use an a priori model as a reference for inversion. In addition, the program implements robust schemes for evaluating the noise component. It is also possible to import and display measurements by other methods and well data, what contributes to a more comprehensive approach to data interpretation.Software feature:
The ERT data processing software ZondRes2D is offered in several configurations.
ZondRes2D Standard - full-featured configuration of the program for processing ERT and IP data in land, borehole and marine variants. In this configuration, options are available for joint inversion with data obtained by other methods, full-wave inversion of IP data and inversion of geoelectrical monitoring data.
