Pike-D seismic source

Pike-D is efficient and robust seismic source, designed for acquisition in transit zones, shallow water and waterlogged areas.

Historically, seismic acquisition in transit areas is complicated due to lack of appropriate source and receiver equipment. Pike-D is a great solution for this type of surveys. Seismic pulse is generated by a shot of a nail gun cartridges, resulting in very high energy release up to 0.8 kJ. Bandwidth of such source is typically higher comparing to sledgehammer and other engineering sources available on market.

Pike-D is very easy-to-operate seismic source, made from a durable and light titanium alloy that allows them to be robust and ergonomic in design with high reliability, ruggedness and low weight.
